    The Sun

O Sun! Thou art the world's own soul, its flowing grace, Who binds the scattered leaves of all of Time and Space.

Thou art the cause that Being from Unbeing flows, And by Thy breath, the garden of Existence grows.

This pageant of the elements by Thee is held, The urge for life in every single thing compelled.

From Thy bright splendor, all things find their stable state, Thy fire and harmony are life incarnate.

That Sun, whose light makes all the world so bright, Is Heart, is Mind, is Soul, is conscious Light.

O Sun, on us the light of consciousness bestow, And make our eye of reason with Thy radiance glow.

For all Existence, Thou dost furnish and adorn, The Lord of all on high and low, of night and morn.

Thy own perfection is in every living heart, Thy splendor shown in mountain ranges set apart.

Thou art the Lord who gives all living things their breath, The crowned King of the sons of light, defying death.

No first beginning and no final end is Thine, Forever free from chains of time, Thy splendors shine.
