    Vishnu Smriti 87

    Now, on the full moon day of Vaiśākha (वैशाख), having made a kṛṣṇājina (कृष्णाजिन) (black antelope skin) with its hooves and horns, with golden horns, silver hooves, and adorned with a tail of pearls, he shall spread it on a woolen and a linen garment. // Vi_87.1 //

    Then he shall cover it with sesame seeds. // Vi_87.2 //

    And he shall make a navel of gold. // Vi_87.3 //

    He shall cover it with a pair of unworn garments. // Vi_87.4 //

    And he shall adorn it with all kinds of perfumes and gems. // Vi_87.5 //

    Having placed in the four directions four metal vessels filled with milk, curd, honey, and clarified butter, he shall give it to a Brāhmaṇa who maintains the sacred fire, who has been adorned and covered with a pair of garments. // Vi_87.6 //

    And on this subject, there are verses. // Vi_87.7 //

    He who gives a kṛṣṇājina (कृष्णाजिन), with its hooves and horns, / Covered with sesame seeds and garments, adorned with all gems, || Vi_87.8 ||

    By him the four-cornered earth, with its oceans, caves, mountains, forests, and woods, / Is given; there is no doubt in this. || Vi_87.9 ||

    He who, having placed sesame seeds, gold, honey, and clarified butter on a kṛṣṇājina (कृष्णाजिन), / Gives it to a Brāhmaṇa, he overcomes all evil deeds. || Vi_87.10 ||
